New! Part of my Hiroshige Homage collection; a collection in the style of Japanese Ukiyo-e. Blue skies evoke a feeling of hope and promise as spring time comes. Growing in my parents garden at Hendorgor the cherry blossom symbolises renewal and the fragility of life. The title of the painting is written in Cornish in the orange cartouche - bottom left. This is watercolour on an airbrushed acrylic ink background. Shown here along side a preparatory pen sketch.
