Spanish Dagger - Yucca Gloriosa. Painted from a stunning plant growing opposite my mini gallery at St Winnow Barton Farm by the River Fowey. it's in the tranquil seating area of the Celandine Food Tea Shop. in its native land it symbolises protection & endurance. 

The original is on white cold pressed (NOT) watercolour paper but also shown here with a tinted background colour to show the more pale petals
