I find that looking at a view, scene, landscape for drawing or painting is a wonderful thing to do. However, I have to remind myself to look up or down rather than straight ahead. Here, below a beech tree beside the river Lynher in Stara Woods, a mossy swatch becomes a rusty, ochre jewel to paint.
