Phoenix United Mine, Linkinhorne, Exterior - Rose & Gold

Part of Cornwall's mining heritage, this restored pumping house stands high on Bodmin Moor between Upton Cross & the Minions. I have taken a photograph, reduced the image to black and white and then printed it out onto cartridge paper. 2 stencils are cut; one in the shape of the building and one the shape of the background/sky. The building shaped stencil is placed over the building of digital print and the blue of the sky airbrushed on. The process is reversed for the colours on the building.

Although the process can be repeated, each piece is an original.

Please Note:- The inks in this piece give it a pearlescent sheen.
