Truro Cathedral, West Rose Window - Indian Yellow & Red

The West facade of the cathedral is crowned by the 'God The Father' rose window. I have taken a photograph, reduced the image to black and white and then printed it out onto cartridge paper. 2 stencils are cut; one in the shape of the building and one the shape of the background/sky. The building shaped stencil is placed over the building of digital print and the blue of the sky airbrushed on. The process is reversed for the colours on the building.
