Whilst working on this piece during our Red Store exhibition in Lerryn, Cornwall; I spoke to a gentleman who said he had recently moved to Gorran Haven. "I'm working on this - it's a gig at Gorran". "That's me!" he exclaimed pointing to a member of the crew.
7 years after taking the photograph and deciding paint it as part of a new, multi picture project and to take this piece to the store to work on; for one of the crew to stroll in and pay us a visit is an extraordinary coincidence!
